- An agreement for the production of insulin was finalized between the two countries.

Petroleum and Crude Oil Talks Between Pakistan and Russia
- Federal Minister for Petroleum Mosaddeq Malik clarified:
- No agreement has been reached with Russia for the purchase of crude oil.
- Talks on crude oil purchases are ongoing but no official decision has been made.
- No new crude oil cargo will be ordered apart from previously established agreements.
